KMH issues Request for Proposals for the production of audio-visual materials on migrant return and sustainable reintegration
Existing audio-visual materials on return and reintegration, while highlighting real stories and showcasing achievements and good practices, have often adopted individual and economic perspective of the migrant return and reintegration journey. Although positive and encouraging, the dissemination of “success stories” often fails to portray the multidimensionality of these processes both in terms of actors involved as well as the different scenarios and outcomes of migrant reintegration.
Building on the need to take a step back and rethink the current approach to communication on return and reintegration, the EU-IOM Knowledge Management Hub is seeking to contract the services of a professional multimedia production company to produce audio-visual materials aiming to encourage pro-active communication and a renewed narrative over such topics. This will be achieved by including the realistic opportunities and challenges of return and reintegration at all levels and highlighting the role of partnerships among stakeholders in host, transit and origin countries. The materials will also aim to showcase the importance of the integrated approach to reintegration adopted by IOM and its partners, while recognizing the complex nature of reintegration looking at migrants’ needs at the individual level, community and structural level.
For this reason, IOM issued a Request for Proposals inviting interested Service Providers/Consulting Firms to provide their Technical and Financial Proposals for evaluation.
The Service Providers/Consulting Firms interested in submitting a proposal should contact Ms. Giulia Brioschi (gbrioschi@iom.int), copy Ms. Aleksandra Izydorczyk (aizydorczyk@iom.int) and the Return and Reintegration Platform email (returnreintegrationplatform@iom.int) to request the full Request for Proposal package.
Deadline for submission of proposals is 28 January 2022.
