The webinar discussion, conducted in French and organized by the EU-IOM Knowledge Management Hub (KMH), provided an overview of how pre-departure assistance in Morocco delivered in the framework of the FORAS project contributes to the sustainable reintegration of returnees in their countries of origin.
FORAS, meaning “opportunities” in Arabic, is a project funded by the German Federal Foreign Office and implemented by IOM in Morocco. FORAS provides migrants willing to return to target countries of origin with up-to-date information about opportunities and challenges associated with the reintegration process in these countries as well as various pre-departure training courses addressing the economic, social and psychosocial dimensions of reintegration.
