The evaluation of the IOM project “Coordination of the Return and Reintegration Assistance for Voluntary Returnees to Moldova” was carried out at the request of the IOM Moldova by the “Study & Assessment Ltd” within the period 21 March – 23 April 2008. This is an external and independent evaluation. The objective of evaluation is to assess strengths and weaknesses of the project design and implementation during the first phase of the project in view of the impact of the reintegration measures on the sustainability of the migrants’ return to Moldova. The focus is on the lessons learnt and recommendations to be made to IOM for necessary adjustments in the second phase of the project.
