Resolution: Migrants in business – fair of entrepreneurial proposals

This paper provides a short overview of the first meeting of returned Moldovan migrants, both women and men, public authorities and representatives of financing programs, held on International Migrant Day, 18 December 2015. The purpose of the event was to facilitate an open dialogue between migrant women and family members of returned home migrants and donors. Furthermore, the event informed active migrant initiative groups about available funding programs and encouraged migrants to contribute methodically to strengthening the newly created migrant women’s organizations.

As a result of the meeting, returned women and men migrants agreed upon six recommendations on migrants’ key reintegration issues through entrepreneurship opportunities, which will be forwarded to the relevant ministries and the Bureau for Relations with the Diaspora.
