Call for Proposals - Research and Development of a Monitoring Toolkit on the Sustainable Reintegration of Victims of Trafficking
The Cooperation on Migration and Partnerships to Achieve Sustainable Solutions (COMPASS) programme, funded by the Dutch Government, was designed to provide direct protection and assistance services to vulnerable migrants whilst developing long-term, sustainable solutions to challenges posed by unsafe migration.
The COMPASS programme is implemented in 12 countries and seeks to address migrant protection; countering trafficking in persons and smuggling of migrants; awareness raising on the risks of irregular migration; rights and legal alternatives; and voluntary return and reintegration.
As part of the programme, IOM conducts research to provide new evidence on priority cross-cutting issues to support the programme objectives and to inform policy and practice to ensure safe, orderly and regular migration beyond the programme. One of the research outputs will aim to better understand reintegration outcomes of victims of trafficking in addition to the development of a dedicated monitoring toolkit.
