This report constitutes the second thematic report on reintegration assistance under the EU-IOM Joint Initiative for Migrant Protection and Reintegration in the Sahel and Lake Chad region. The first report, published in March 2019, described the approach established for reintegration assistance under the EU-IOM Joint Initiative, as well as the main results of the reintegration pillar of the programme from the start of the programme until January 2019.
This second issue, covering the period from 1 April 2017 to 31 July 2019, provides an update on the results reached so far, and presents the initial findings from the monitoring exercises conducted by IOM and its partners.
