The AU-EU Technical Workshop on Sustainable Reintegration took place in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia on 27 and 28 November 2018. Organised in the context of the AU-EU-UN Taskforce on the situation of migrants in Libya, it aimed to facilitate exchange of good practices, identify challenges and lessons learned as well as opportunities to achieve sustainable reintegration of migrants returning to their countries of origin on the African continent. The workshop brought together over 60 experts and key stakeholders from the African Union and AU Member States, the European Union and EU Member States, IOM, UNHCR, other UN agencies, and civil society.
