Airline staff instructions leaflet from IATA
Globally, there are 25 million people living in modern slavery. Over 60% of victims are trafficked across international borders, with traffickers misusing the speed and efficiency of aviation to transport victims who may be traveling undetected on aircraft and through airports.
The aviation industry is committed to playing its part to help governments and law enforcement tackle this issue by raising awareness and by training staff to spot the signs of potential human trafficking.
