INVITATION | ICAT Webinar Series on Data Gathering, Analysis and Visualization
Aiming to advance discussions on trafficking in persons data collection and research, the Interagency Working Group against Trafficking in Persons’ (ICAT) is organizing the Webinar Series 2023 on Data Gathering, Analysis and Visualization. In line with the ICAT Priority #1: Building the evidence base, the webinar series will share examples of ongoing cutting-edge initiatives to gather, analyse, and visualize human trafficking data, as well as issues pertaining to research on the topic, including ethical considerations.
The first webinar, titled Pioneering initiatives on leveraging trafficking data: International Classification Standards for Administrative Data on Trafficking in Persons (ICS-TIP) & Human Trafficking Case Data Standard (HTCDS), will take place on 1 June 2023 at 10 am and 4 pm CET. In this webinar, experts from the International Organization for Migration (IOM) and United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) will present two examples of pioneering trafficking in persons data collection tools and address practical questions concerning their implementation.
The webinars are open to ICAT membership, their field offices, and interested partners. Participants have a choice to join either the morning or the afternoon session.
