The present report forms part of the evaluation of the Swiss Assisted Voluntary Return and Reintegration Programme mandated by the Federal Office for Migration (FOM) in 2012. It is to contribute to reaching the evaluation’s objectives and providing answers to the three principal evaluation questions (see box) by presenting data and experiences from Kosovo and by proposing recommendations for this specific context. At the same time, the report is a document in its own right, designed to be understood by readers without the necessity to consult additional documents, including the six other country studies (Georgia, Iraq, Guinea, Nigeria, Sri Lanka, Turkey) and the overall and synthetic evaluation report.
