The communication campaign on “Promoting balanced narratives on return and sustainable reintegration” was launched under the EU-IOM Knowledge Management Hub with the aim of portraying voices of returnees, their families and communities, partners, as well as other stakeholders across different contexts and regions.
The proposed materials promote a more realistic, balanced and fact-based narrative on return and sustainable reintegration, particularly by shedding light on them being multidimensional phenomena.
To do so, the campaign seeks to harmoniously focus on the different dimensions of sustainable reintegration, namely the economic, social and psychosocial dimensions, across individual, community and structural levels as set forth by the IOM's Integrated Approach.
The materials have been produced the EU-IOM Knowledge Management Hub, funded by the European Union, in collaboration with Beyond Borders Media, Leon! Animations and eleven IOM Country Offices across all regions, and the precious support of several other stakeholders.
