Community-Based Mental Health and Psychosocial Support in Emergencies and Displacement

Self‑portrait elaborated by a Nigerian IDP and psychosocial worker, during a five‑day workshop on autobiographical models through art, organized by IOM in Maiduguri, Nigeria

This course is designed to support MHPSS managers and experts involved in the design, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of community-based mental health and psychosocial support programs in emergency and displacement settings within humanitarian responses. Drawing from the IOM Manual on Community-Based Mental Health and Psychosocial Support in Emergencies and Displacement, it equips participants with the tools and knowledge to effectively address the mental health and psychosocial needs of affected communities in crisis situations.

The course is free and available in English all year at E-Campus.
