The Sankt Barbara Foundation offers trainings for potential returnees from Germany to conflict-ridden countries of origin.
Armed conflict may leave some areas of the country of origin with explosive remnants of war, while other areas are considered safe. One component of the training is the "education about the dangers of explosive remnants of war". The participants learn to recognize and avoid these dangers.
Further course contents are first aid, basic knowledge on water, sanitation and hygiene as well as information on reconstruction work.
