IOM Reintegration HandbookIOM Return Counselling Toolkit

 

The IOM Reintegration Handbook (EN/FR/SP/AR) also offers various learning opportunities, available in the dedicated sections below. Access leaflets in EnglishFrench and Spanish to have a quick overview of the Handbook content. One of its modules, A Child Rights Approach to The Sustainable Reintegration of Migrant Children and Families, is complemented by Tools co-developed with UNICEF.

Still focusing on migrant children, the IOM Return Counselling Toolkit (EN/AR/FR) offers a complementing resource on the Return Counselling of Children and Their Families

To further support practitioners, the IOM Migrant Centres Toolkit provides guidance and standardized procedures for operating migrant centres, ensuring protection and well-being.

 

 

Data and Research

According to the IOM Return and Reintegration Key Highlights 2023, the number of Assisted Voluntary Return and Reintegration (AVRR) beneficiaries increased by 4 per cent, from 54,001 in 2022 to 56,045 in 2023. Similarly, the number of beneficiaries who were assisted through Voluntary Humanitarian Return (VHR) rose by 4 per cent, going up from 15,281 in 2022 to 15,906 in 2023.
