Joint Report of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime and the International Organization for Migration on Crime Statistics

In the present report, the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) and the International Organization for Migration (IOM) highlight the reasoning for the development of a classification for administrative data on trafficking in persons. It contains a broad description of the classification, while the full structure of the international classification for administrative data on trafficking in persons and its disaggregating variables are contained in an information document provided as a background document to the fifty-sixth session of the Statistical Commission. Furthermore, the report contains an overview of the consultation processes that contributed to the creation and validation of the classification.
