This e-learning module on the human rights of migrants provides an in-depth discussion on the universal rights and fundamental freedoms that apply to all individuals, including migrants, as established by Human Rights treaties. Designed for stakeholders in migration policy, this course delves into the obligations of States towards migrants, the principle of non-discrimination, and the benefits of adopting a rights-based approach to migration governance. It also explores the conditions under which differential treatment for migrants and nationals, as well as for migrants with regular and irregular status, may be permissible.
The course is free and available in English all year at the EMM2.0
